Effective Supervision for AHPs in the NHSCT

Overview

This consultation is to find out 3 things:

1. Are we as NHSCT AHP professionals following AHP regional supervision guidance ?

2. Do we as NHSCT AHP professionals feel our supervision is effective ?

3. Do we feel we have the skills to support what is required at supervision? 

Why your views matter

in 2019 an NHSCT AHP Learning and development (L&D) Group was developed with support from the AHP Heads of Service and our AHP lead. The group see effective supervision as central to supporting the learning and development of AHPs across the NHSCT. This consultation will give the NHSCT AHP L&D group information on effective supervision across AHP services. This information will be used to support and develop effective supervision for supervisors and supervisees with our objective being to facilitate the learning and development of AHP staff.
