Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund: Device Request form
Overview
In February 2025, the UK Government launched its Digital Inclusion Action Plan to remove barriers to digital access and ensure everyone can participate in the digital world.
Through the Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund (DIIF), funding has been allocated to Northern Ireland to support local digital inclusion initiatives focused on:
- Opening up opportunities through skills
- Tackling data and device poverty
- Breaking down barriers to digital services
- Building confidence and supporting local delivery
As part of this initiative, 300 new laptop devices are available for donation to eligible VCSE organisations across Northern Ireland. These devices are intended to support community‑led digital inclusion projects aligned with DIIF objectives.
Each organisation may apply for one laptop device.
To be eligible, your organisation must:
- be registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (CCNI)
- have an annual income of £100,000 or less, as recorded on the CCNI website
- use the laptop to support one or more DIIF focus areas
By submitting this application, you confirm that:
- the information provided is accurate and complete
- your organisation meets the eligibility criteria
- the device will be used for the purpose described in this application
