Dangerous Structures (Fees) Regulations (NI) 2027: Draft Regulatory Impact Assessment
Overview
The Department of Agriculture, Environment & Rural Affairs (DAERA) intends to make the Dangerous Structures (Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2027. These will come into operation in late February 2027 and will provide district councils with powers to charge fees in relation to surveys, inspections and monitoring of structures a council suspects may be dangerous. The Regulations are being made under the Dilapidation Act (NI) 2026.
As part of the regulation making process, the Department is consulting on the attached draft Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA).
