PhD Scoping Exercise - Northern Ireland
Overview
Introduction
The Research and Evidence Partnership established by NI Social Care Council to support the Strategic Social Work and Social Care agenda is interested in scoping the current PhD research activity in the region and beyond, as some people may live in Northern Ireland but studying in a university outside of the region.
The survey questions below should take no longer than 10 minutes to answer. Information gathered will be used to provide an overview of social work doctoral level studies for information for the Partnership Board as of 2025.
If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact Anne McGlade, Social Care Research Lead on Anne.McGlade@niscc.hscni.net or Andriana Alkiviadou at andriana.alkiviadou@niscc.hscni.net
Participation in this exercise provides a regional overview of PhD activity for social work, which is of value to the strategic research agenda of being an evidence-based profession.
