Closes 30 Apr 2024

Opened 20 Oct 2023

Results expected 30 Jun 2024

Feedback expected 31 Jul 2024

Overview

The Social Care Council is inviting new social care workers who recently joined the Social Care Council Register and have reached six months service to take part in this survey.

We would like to learn about new social care worker's experiences of working in social care and what attracted them to this type of work.  Responses will provide an insight for us as we work with employers to recruit and retain people with the skills and values needed to provide good standards of social care services.  In particular, we want to learn what services and resources are most useful in supporting the wellbeing and development of the workforce.

This survey should take 15-20 minutes to complete. Feedback will used by our Registration and Workforce Development Teams to help improve the services we provide for our registrants and their employers.

Participation in this survey is voluntary and all responses are anonymous. All feedback will be held securely by the Social Care Council while the feedback is analysed and then disposed of in line with GDPR requirements. To ensure confidentiality, we ask all respondents not to include the name of any social care organisation, service users, family or colleagues in your responses. Any queries about the delivery of this survey should be emailed to contact Andre McKeown, Evaluation Manager at: andre.mckeown@niscc.hscni.net.

We would appreciate if you those invited to participate could submit their survey response within the next two weeks.

Thank you for your support

Patricia Higgins, Chief Executive, Northern Ireland Social Care Council
