HSCNI Equality and Disability Action Plans
Overview
The six Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland (including the NI Ambulance Trust) have worked in partnership to develop new draft Equality and Disability Action Plans for 2023-28.
These draft equality and disability action plans outline the proposed actions to be undertaken by the Health and Social Care Trusts over the next 5 years to respectively address Section 75 inequalities, and to promote positive attitudes towards people with a disability and to encourage their full participation in public life. In the spirit of involvement, they have been informed by engagement with the experts by experience and key stakeholders and also a review of literature on inequalities.
We are now seeking views on our draft Equality and Disability Action Plans, and would welcome you taking the time to respond to this short survey. Your answers will contribute to our final plans.
