YOUR VOICE MATTERS

1. In the future you may receive care from a wider range of health and care professionals, not just your GP or consultant. For example, a nurse practitioner, mental health worker, pharmacist or physiotherapist might see you in a community centre or other setting. What would help you feel confident in the care and advice you receive?
2. Using digital health services Health and care services may make more use of digital technology in the future. This could include completing online forms, using apps, sending and receiving messages, video appointments and online booking. What would help you feel confident using digital tools and services?
3. Managing more of your own health In the future you could be asked to do more when it comes to managing your health and care. This could include monitoring symptoms, being more involved in decisions about your care or making lifestyle changes. What would help you feel confident to manage more of your health and care?
4. New types of treatment In the future you might be offered treatment in a different way. This could be through new technology, medical research and innovation or new ways of managing mental or physical health conditions. 5. Treatment at home In the future you may stay in hospital for less time and have more treatment at home, with support and monitoring. What would help you feel confident in receiving treatment at home?
