Why your views matter
The Emotional Wellbeing Teams in Schools (EWTS) is a programme designed to support post-primary schools and is inviting Expressions of Interest for the 2026 / 2027 academic year.
What is this programme about?
The EWTS programme has been developed in partnership with CAMHS as part of the implementation of the Children & Young People’s Emotional Health and Wellbeing in Education Framework. The Framework provides overarching guidance to help educational settings promote emotional wellbeing, strengthen self-esteem, and build resilience in all children and young people.
EWTS consists of a dedicated team of practitioners with relevant qualifications and experience in working with children and young people. Each participating school will be assigned a named practitioner who will work alongside the school, following its chosen model, over the course of one academic year. This support will cover a wide range of emotional health and wellbeing themes.
