Social Care Council - Care to Chat Podcasts Feedback (Feb 2024)

Overview

Care to Chat is a podcast of conversations hosted by the Northern Ireland Social Care Council to share views and experiences about social work and social care practice, registration and regulation in Northern Ireland. As someone who has listened to some of our podcasts. we would like to hear your views to help us plan future features.

Presented by broadcaster Dr Wendy Austin, this podcast series showcases conversations and interviews with people in the social work and social care community, as well as from across the health and social care system. We discuss things that matter to social workers and social care workers, inform their learning and development, address common questions, and talk about what we can do to best support the safe delivery of quality health and social care in Northern Ireland.  Care to Chat is also an opportunity for other professions to hear about areas of good practice.

This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. We would appreciate if you could complete the survey before 5pm on Friday 1 March 2024. Your participation is voluntary and all responses are anonymous.  Individual respondents will not be identified in any reports produced from the survey. Any information provided will held securely by the Social Care Council for a maximum of three years and then disposed of in line with GDPR requirements.

Why your views matter

There are 45,000 people registered with the Social Care Council and contributing to the delivery of high quality social work and social care services across Northern Ireland. These podcasts are one of the ways in which the Social Care Council provides opportunities for registrants and our partners in social care to update their knowledge and share innovative approaches to improve social care standards. Feedback from participants will ensure we provide a range of broadcasts that provide relevant and timely information for those who take part.

What happens next

This Podcast survey was open from 15 February - 1 March 2024.  Responses will be used to improve the programme for future events.
