Improving Land Registers - an introduction for local government
Event overview
Land & Property Services (LPS) is implementing an online digital solution for the maintenance of the Registry of Deeds, the Ground Rents Register, the Statutory Charges Register and the Land Registry Register. Our aim is to improve registration and make the provision of land information services more user-friendly, straightforward and efficient.
Join us on the 23rd of April, online, from 12.30 - 1.15pm for an update on the upcoming changes that will take place as part of the modernisation of Land Registration services and an overview of the work already underway.
You will hear from our Director and Registrar of Titles, Christine Farrell, who will provide an overview of the background and context of the work we are undertaking, and our vision for the future of Land Registration. This will be followed by some updates from our partners who are delivering this work alongside us, a first look at some of the features of the new system, and an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about what these changes mean for local government officers.
This session may be of particular interest to local government solicitors involved in conveyancing, as well as any staff who work with the Registry of Deeds, Ground Rents or Statutory Charges registers or related services.
This event is free of charge. You must register by 10am on Tuesday the 21st of April in order to receive the dial in details to join this event.
Registration may close early if this event reaches capacity.
