Overview

Thank you all for the high quality work provided at such pace to us during our Standing Counsel Exercise over the last 12 months.  We have had positive feedback from instructing lawyers, and from clients, about your work.  I hope that it was an interesting experience and helped give you an insight into some new areas of government legal practice.

I would value your input to help assess whether the scheme was a success. Evidence so far supports our hope of extending the scheme, and although funding constraints may mean that we may be issuing fewer briefs, we would like to know what we can do to improve it the scheme, especially if there were any difficulties which you encountered.
