Safe Place Advocate Training 2024-25
Overview
The Civil Service is committed to providing support to those experiencing, or at risk of, domestic and/or sexual abuse and has pledged to the White Ribbon NI and Onus Safe Place Campaign: never to commit, condone or stay silent about domestic violence or abuse.
We recognise the importance of providing a safe, supportive workplace for those colleagues affected by domestic violence or abuse, and the role of a Safe Place Advocate is key in signposting those affected to relevant sources of support.
A number of our Safe Place Advocates will be renewing their Safe Place Advocate training and a small number of spaces on this training are now available.
As you have previously expressed an interest in becoming a Safe Place Advocate, we would like of offer you the opportunity to complete the training required to fulfil this role.
There are three tiers of training. Attendance at ALL three tiers is required to become a Safe Place Advocate.
Spaces are limited on each tier of training and spaces will be allocated on a first come basis.
You will only need to attend one session per tier, but to help co-ordinate and manage attendee numbers at this stage, please confirm all sessions which you are able/unable to attend by completing the following survey.
Please complete by 12 noon Wednesday 12 March 2025.
