DfE Mapping of the Export Promotion Ecosystem - Pulse Survey
Overview
There are a significant number of public bodies, business representative organisations, and others involved in export promotion in Northern Ireland (NI), providing services and advice to businesses to support their expansion into external markets. Feedback from NI businesses suggests that the support and advice is of a high quality, but it is difficult to navigate, and hard to identify the full range of supports that are available. Improving the effectiveness of and join-up across the NI export promotion ecosystem is therefore a key priority.
About the Project
The purpose of this project is to review the existing export promotion ecosystem, setting out analysis of the current support available, along with recommendations for the development of a streamlined approach and operating model.
How you can help
As part of this project we would like to get your views on the export promotion ecosystem and identify improvements to make the support more accessible.
This survey will take approximately 5 minutes.
Innovation & Consultancy Services (ICS)
ICS is the principle source of internal consultancy services across the NICS, its Executive Agencies and NDPB’s. ICS have been commissioned by the Department for the Economy (DfE) to conduct this project. A proposal was agreed between ICS and DfE in March 2024.
