DAERA is arranging a public meeting to discuss proposals to manage the intertidal shellfish fisheries in Strangford Lough.

Proposals to manage intertidal shellfish gathering in Northern Ireland were subject to a public consultation conducted by DAERA in 2022.

The meeting has been confirmed for Wednesday 1 July starting at 3.30pm in the Bridge Community Centre, 27 Braeside Gardens, Killyleagh BT30 9QE 

We want to hear from those interested in managing this fishery within the Strangford Lough Special Area of Conservation
