SEA Environmental Report - Peatland Strategy Delivery Plan

Overview

DAERA SEA Environmental Report & Peatland Strategy Actions

A Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) has been carried out on the actions agreed and listed in the Northern Ireland Peatland Strategy to 2040. These actions will form the Northern Ireland Peatland Strategy Delivery Plan.  This SEA has produced an Environmental Report. It is a statutory requirement that DAERA consults on this Environmental Report.

We welcome your views on the Environmental Report and ask that you answer the consultation questions.

The Consultation will run from 28 November 2025 until 23 January 2026

*Please note that we are NOT seeking views on the already agreed and published actions from the Northern Ireland Peatland Strategy to 2040, as these were previously subject to consultation.
