School Milk Subsidy Scheme Survey for Schools

Closes 10 Jan 2025

Introduction

The School Milk Subsidy Scheme in Northern Ireland enables children and young people to get milk at a reduced cost in school, with the aim of encouraging children and young people to consume milk and dairy products. The Scheme is optional for schools to participate in, and currently just over a third (36%) of Primary and Special Educational Needs Schools in Northern Ireland take part.

The scheme is administered by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland. We are evaluating the scheme and would appreciate your feedback as schools are an essential component in the success of the scheme. As part of the survey, we will also be asking some questions on fruit and vegetable consumption, and breakfast clubs within schools.

The Survey should take approximately 6 minutes to complete.
