Public Perception of Hedgerow Management and Biodiversity in Northern Ireland (NI)
Overview
Hedgerows criss-cross the Northern Irish countryside and are a key feature of the landscape. These living, linear boundaries to our fields and lanes provide a multitude of benefits for society and biodiversity.
You are being invited to participate in a research study which will gather the views, knowledge and perception of the general public in relation to hedgerow management and biodiversity in Northern Ireland. Feedback is being sought via a questionaire from the general public resident in Northern Ireland over the age of 18.
This research is being undertaken as part of a BSc Agricultural Management Degree at the University Centre Askham Bryan, York, England. The data collected will be used within a written research report and may be published.
The research project has received ethical approval from the University Centre Askham Bryan, York. The questions in this survey will not capture any personal identifiable data. The anonymous responses will be stored securely and combined with others for analysis and interpretation.
