Northern Ireland Peatland Strategy Equality Impact Assessment

Overview

An Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) has been carried out for the Northern Ireland Peatland Strategy.  An analysis of relevant evidence has been considered to help identify potential impacts resulting from the implementation of the strategy on the nine Section 75 Equality Groups. A number of potential mitigating measures have also been suggested.  We invite stakeholders to consider the information included within this EQIA and provide feedback.

This public consultation is open for a period of twelve weeks until 4/11/2022.  We encourage you to respond as early as possible and
welcome responses from all sectors, age-groups, organisations and individuals.
