The Market Intelligence Department contacts meat plants/abattoirs three times each week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday to ask them for current quotes for base grade steers/heifers. The ranges of quotes are then reported as follows:

  • Monday - website, text subscribers and answerphone service
  • Wednesday - website, newspaper and answerphone service
  • Friday - website, newspaper and answerphone service
