Overview

The FDA NIULF project ‘Early Career Leaders – Professional and Personal Development in the NI Civil Service’ was the first project to be run by the FDA union in Northern Ireland. It’s main focus was:

  • To increase participation in learning amongst the civil service workforce in NI
  • To address key gaps in support for early career civil servants
  • To improve opportunities to gain promotion and improve job and pay progression, particularly for under-represented groups.

The project ran a number of webinars and online interactive courses from September 2023 through to March 2024.

The purpose of the learning programme was to develop and deliver bespoke CPD and employability courses aimed at supporting workers to progress in job applications and gain promotion within the civil service.

FDA would like some comments/testomonials for their case study regarding:

  • Preparing your competency answer’ on 11th January and 22nd March
  • ‘Improving Your Performance: Competency Based Interviews’ -  31st January and 7th February

If you attended any of the FDA courses above would you please complete this short survey to allow us to provide feedback and help FDA with their case study and development of future programmes
