Departmental Induction Feedback/Views
Overview
As part of our commitment to ensuring a high quality and consistent experience for all new staff, we are undertaking a review of the Departmental Induction. This aligns with an Action from the DAERA People Plan 2025/27 to review and refresh the DAERA Induction Hub to ensure it remains relevant, engaging and aligned to the Department’s strategic priorities, welcomes all new staff to the Department and equips them with relevant knowledge to carry out their role.
To inform this review we are seeking your views on the effectiveness of the current induction, including its content, structure, delivery and overall impact. Your feedback will play a key role in identifying what is working well, where improvements are required, and what enhancements would most strengthen the induction experience for new staff.
