Forest Service, an Executive Agency of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA), is required to consider issuing Consent  for the project detailed under the Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 (as amended).

as a relevant project. The applicant
has now submitted an environmental
statement and applied for Consent.

Consent for the project to proceed can be issued by the Department
under the Regulations taking account of the selection criteria
specified in the legislation. Each project is required to comply with
the UK Forestry Standard.
