Consent for the project to proceed can be issued by the Department
under the Regulations taking account of the selection criteria
specified in the legislation. Each project is required to comply with
the UK Forestry Standard.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely
environmental effects of the proposed project must do so in writing
to the Department by emailing forest.regulation@daera-ni.gov.uk,
or via the consultation website, by 23 June 2025.
