Know Check Ask Phase 2 Steering Group Survey

Overview

The purpose of this survey is to provide you with an opportunity to comment on the design and development of the physical and digital resources to be used for the second phase of the Know Check Ask campaign. 

A regional medication safety campaign entitled Know, Check, Ask (KCA) has been developed to support the World Health Organisation's (WHO) third Global Patient Safety Challenge: Medication Without Harm.  The aim of the WHO challenge is to reduce severe avoidable harm by 50% globally over the next five years.  The first phase of the Know, Check, Ask medication safety campaign was launched in Community Pharmacies as part of the Living Well public health programme.  The next phase of the KCA campaign is to raise awareness across the wider health and social care system with a focus on two groups, namely:

• Health Care Staff;
• Patients.

It is envisaged that a number of physical and digital resources will be required to ensure maximum impact of the campaign.  We would value your contribution in assisting with the design and development of the resources required for Phase 2 of the campaign.

It is anticipated that the next phase of the KCA campaign involving the wider Health and Social care remit will be launched to coincide with Global Patient Safety Day on 17^th September 2022.  The theme of this year’s campaign is on medication safety.
