Overview

Northern Ireland Planning Portal (NIPP) User Survey

The Planning Portal Project Team are launching this user survey to capture views and experiences of the people who use the current Planning IT System, including the submission of hard copy planning applications and Regional Property Certificate requests.

The purpose of this survey is to capture the experiences of key users whether they are members of the public/agents submitting planning applications to members of staff in local/central government processing these applications; consultees in the planning process; solicitors involved in the submission of Regional Property Certificate (RPC) requests and the staff in the RPC Unit who process them.

We are asking all users to complete a short online survey. These responses will help us gain a valuable insight into current user experience and satisfaction levels, and to provide the Project Team with a benchmark going forward.

Please choose the survey applicable to you depending on how you use the Planning Portal and what your role is. (Note: Planning Staff and Consultees may also wish to complete the ‘Public Access’ survey if they use that to assist with their jobs).

The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete online and most questions simply need a tick in the appropriate box. Please complete it by 27th June 2022.

Be assured that your answers will be treated in the strictest of confidence, and will remain completely anonymous. There is an option at the end of the survey to complete your email address to get a copy of your responses. No-one will contact you as a result of answering the questionnaire and we will not share your email address with any other organisation or individual. Please note if you have any comments about a specific planning application or case you should contact the relevant planning authority.

Thank you for your help
